The Portsmouth High School Art Department is super proud and happy to announce Aidan's accomplishments of winning a National Scholastic Arts Gold KEY Award.
Aidan is super dedicated, works incredibly hard, is exceptionally talented and deserves receiving the highest recognition awarded in the arts!!
Aidan & his family will travel to NYC where he will be recognized for his excellence as an accomplished artist, along with the other national art winners throughout the country.
He will be awarded this prestigious honor during a national award ceremony held at Carnegie Hall in NYC on June 8th. Various workshops and opportunities in NYC are held for the winners the weekend of June 9-11th.
Scholastics Arts is celebrating its 100th Anniversary of recognizing student artists with Scholastics Arts & Writing awards. Famous Artists such as Andy Warhol & Annie Lebovitz won these prestigious awards when they were in high school.
We are all so excited to see what he accomplishes and where he goes next!
