Congratulations Class of 2023:
Due to the predicted inclement weather forecast for Friday and the recent air quality alerts, the decision has been made to host graduation indoors in the PHS Field House. The health & well-being of our graduates, families, and community members are our number one priority.
Based on the seating capacities determined by the state fire marshal, tickets will be required for entry. Each senior received 7 tickets during graduation rehearsals. There are a limited number of tickets still available, although we encourage students & families to reach out to friends for unused tickets before calling the school.
Please review page 2 of the graduation information sent on April 21st. Here are some additional important reminders and information:
Graduates must report to the cafeteria by 5:00 pm.
We have asked graduates to carpool for their early arrival to allow for additional parking for guests.
Only school issued stoles & cords may be worn.
Graduates have been reminded to put their names in the caps so that they can be returned.
Graduates cannot decorate their cap.
We encourage all families to carpool!
Portsmouth Police are allowing cars to park on ONE side of Patriots Drive & Education Lane.
Memorial drive (the one-way off Turnpike) will have parking on both sides & there will be access to parking on the fields.
We are looking forward to celebrating your students’ achievement with you tomorrow at 6:00pm in the field house. Doors open at 5:00 pm and tickets are required.
