On Tuesday, August 23rd, Dr. Kenworthy communicated in his district updates to the School Committee that one big change for the start of the school year that we have been communicating to families is that the federal waiver on school meals has expired. This means that school breakfast and lunch return to a daily charge with exceptions for those who qualify for free or reduced rates. School Committee policy EF sets parameters around the purchasing of meals and allowances for students whose accounts are low on funds or forgot money.
